Guru Milarepa Statues

Guru Milarepa was not originally inclined towards Tibetan Buddhism. However, his dedication would become apparent in the three towers that he constructed at the behest of his teacher. As a result, he received the Buddhist teachings and would go on to inherit the Kagyu lineage from Guru Marpa. Our Guru Milarepa statues are hand crafted in fine detail. Therefore, Guru Milarepa is depicted with his right hand hand held to his ear, seated on a deer skin rug. Additionally, Guru Milarepa is usually depicted holding the kapala in the palm of his left hand. Click the listings below to view the statue details and read a brief history of the guru.
