Yamantaka Statues

Our Yamantaka statues feature the head of a bull, eight other ferocious faces, 16 legs and 32 hands holding sharp instruments. Indeed, Yamantaka is the “Conqueror of Death” and he has destroyed the cycle of rebirth. As a result, he is a highly venerated tantric deity whom practitioners use to achieve enlightenment in a single lifetime. The frightening appearance of Yamantaka statues is meant to destroy all negativity and worldly desires. Indeed, the fierce appearance is not meant for violence, the deity is based on a foundation of compassion and wisdom. All of our Yamantaka sculptures were hand crafted in Patan, Nepal using the lost wax sculpting method. As a result, the buyer can rest assured they have procured a monastic quality statue.
