The statue will inspire everyone who sees it.

The symbolism of Green Tara encourages devotees to break free from dogmatic ways and embrace a fresh perspective. Additionally, she is always ready to move with alacrity to relieve the suffering of sentient life. As a result, in contrast with being locked in full lotus she sits in an open pose. Therefore, she is ready to spring into action when she is needed.

This venerable mudra provides further assurances to her devotees that she is ready to instantly spring to their assistance. Her left hand is displaying the Abhaya mudra. This mudra is also known as the symbol of protection and fearlessness.

    Dear Edwin,
The beautiful Green Tara has now been filled; blessed; given to our Lama for her 70th birthday and been placed in our Shrine room.

She looks totally superb there and is such a beautiful statue. We are all extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship, the wonderful appearance of the statue itself, as well as the process of buying her and getting her sent to Samye Ling Monastery.

I have attached a couple of photos for your interest.
    Thank you so much!!

You may have noticed that we have space for another large statue….all in good time.

    Best wishes,

    Joelle
